5. God's Power and Our Weakness
Gideons leadership of the people of God teaches us that Gods power is made perfect in our weakness.
4. Faith & the Faithfulness of God
God is a steadfast, immovable, faithful God and we can place our faith in Him.

3. Undeserved and Unexpected
The benevolence of God means that His grace is shown to people who do not deserve it. Gods power means that He works in ways that are unexpected. Remembering this is essential for following Jesus.
2. In the World and of the World
We are called to disciple the next generation of Christians so that the church maintains its Christlike witness to the world, so that we might fulfil the mission of God.

God demands wholehearted followers who worship him in spirit and truth because of who He is!

8. Work Together
The church is called to work together; elders should lead, the church should follow, our eyes should be fixed on God and we should watch out for the work of the enemy.

7. A Holy People
We are called to be a holy people, even in the face of suffering for our faith. We must avoid sin, do good and fix our eyes on the return of the Lord Jesus.

6. The Good Life
The world says that 'the good life' is found in self-indulgent luxury. Gods word says that 'the good life' is selfless love for one another and sharing the truth, even while suffering.

5. A Counter-Cultural Marriage
In a self-promoting world, men and women in a Christian marriage are called to set aside their own interests and work as a team for the glory of God.

3. A People with a Purpose
We are part of Gods amazing building project, the church, and the project is not to be admired at a distance, but it has a purposebringing glory to God in proclamation of the gospel and good works.
1 Peter 2:4-12
2. Living as Children of God
As the chosen, special children of God we are called to live lives that are holy, display love to one another and are full of hope in the return of Jesus.

1. What did you expect?
While we are a privileged people that does not mean we are guaranteed an easy journey but it does mean that we have a glorious inheritance laid up ahead of us.

7. A Vision for Making Disciples
We are all called to work toward presenting everyone mature in Christ.
Colossians 1:24 -2:5
6. Together, on Mission
We are all called to be on mission to bring glory to God by making disciples together.
5. Disciples who make Disciples.
If we follow Jesus we are called to make disciples. The task is inescapable and it is one that we are equipped for by the Holy Spirit.
3. We are Family
The church are called to be a community of people. As we live out life, as the family God has formed us into, it will be attractive to those outside and it will lead to a proclamation of the truth.
1 Timothy 3:14-16
1. The Glory of God
Our God is glorious and as we look to the next five years of FBC our desire to glorify Him must drive everything that we do.
2. Jesus Breaks the Curse of Sin
Jesus has defeated the curse of sin, by which we are all suppressed, through his resurrection.
1. Jesus is the Sinless Saviour
Though Jesus was fully human, he never sinned. That is good news, we need the sinless Saviour.
